The Women’s Club volunteers enjoyed the evening at Kiawanis Park passing out popcorn and candy and meeting new people. We are grateful for all our volunteers and the families that participated in this event. It’s always exciting to see the newest or most popular costumes each year and we definitely saw a lot of unicorns! We really appreciate our volunteers and the time they put into running our thrift store and attending community events. Hope to see you all next year!

Giving Back to Local Seniors
Today some of our members volunteered to deliver treat bags to the residents of Woodbury Wellness Center in Hampstead. The Womens Club has always enjoyed giving back locally and remembering our seniors is an important part of our mission. The members were happy to make new friends and bring something special to the residents. Throughout the day new friends were made and visits with old friends were extra special. Along with the treat bags the Club has donated $3000.00 to the Topsail Senior Center to help fund the Meals on Wheels Program.

Truscello said volunteers from the chamber and women’s club will cook up sausage and pancakes.
“Each child will have an opportunity to sit on Santa’s lap and tell him what they want for Christmas,” said Tammy Proctor, executive director of the Greater Topsail Area Chamber of Commerce. “We encourage parents to bring their cameras and take photos.”
