About Us
Welcome to the Hampstead Women’s Club
The Hampstead Women’s Club, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit, was established in 1959. Membership is open to both women and men over the age of 18.
Our mission is: To be good stewards of the generous donations of our community, and to offer a quality thrift shop, not for our benefit but for the benefit of our community, and in working side by side, develop friendships through fellowship, service and respect for each other.
Revenue stream
The Hampstead Women’s Club operates the Hampstead Thrift Shop, which generates our revenue.
The community donates gently-used clothing, shoes, purses, books, furniture, baby items, and housewares. The volunteers of the Hampstead Women’s Club sort through the donations and select items to display in the thrift store.
The proceeds of the thrift store are in turn given back to community organizations, students and schools.
