Welcome to the Hampstead Women’s Club
The Hampstead Women’s Club, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, was founded in 1959. We are established to simply serve our community.
Our Mission
Our mission is simply: To be good stewards of the generous donations of our community, and to offer a quality thrift store, not for our benefit but for the benefit of our community, and, in working side by side develop friendships through fellowship, service and respect for each other.
Join us
Membership to the Hampstead Women’s Club is open to both women and men over the age of 18. Annual dues are $15 per year and require a minimum of 6 hours per month of volunteering in the thrift store or $25.00 for social membership.
Revenue stream
The Hampstead Women’s Club operates the Hampstead Thrift Store, located at 14435 US Hwy 17. The proceeds from the thrift store are given to community organizations, students and schools.
How it works
The greater Hampstead community donates gently-used items of clothing, shoes, purses, jewelry, furniture, baby items, books and housewares. The volunteers of the women’s club sort through these donated items and displays select items for sale. The proceeds from the thrift store are donated back to the community through charitable donations.
Hampstead Women’s Club Building
